My brief intro as the owner:
My name is Jonathan Wilson and I proudly own and operate Capacity Fire Protection. My time in fire protection started in 2018 when I had the opportunity to lead a fire protection team at my previous company. My time in managing commercial properties began in 2012 working for the US Navy. I’ve been in countless buildings of all shapes, sizes, and conditions.
Today I hold various certifications and licenses, to include: NICET II Fire Alarm Systems certification, Michigan Fire Alarm Specialty Technician license, Michigan Fire Alarm Contractor license, City of Detroit Certificate of Fitness, and a State of Michigan ACT 144 license. I am passionate about this industry and my care and concern for the customer and your fire systems is genuine.
Prior to entering the fire protection industry, I proudly served as a commissioned US Naval Officer for over 6 years, providing my expertise in the Civil Engineer Corps, a specialized community of engineers and architects. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University in 2011, and obtained my MBA from the University of Michigan – Flint in 2022.
